To the good people at Aurora Shoe Company,

I'm happy to report that my New Chinese shoes enjoyed a trip to India! I thought I would share a couple of photos of the shoes in action. The first, taking a drawing break at the Ellora Caves, and the second, climbing up to Leh Palace at roughly 11,500 feet in the magical city of Leh. The Vibram soles came in handy!

I got these sandals as a graduation present... in 1996 (eek). I love these shoes & they're the only pair of shoes that have stuck by me in life. I finally admitted that it was time for a new pair to get me through th next 16 years. I'm not sure what to do with the old ones though - maybe I'll bronze them or pass them down to my grandchildren some...
