About Aurora
Aurora is a quaint little village in the heart of the Finger Lakes region of New York. On the east side of Cayuga Lake, our area boasts some of the most beautiful sunsets you could ask for. Our neighbors are a collection of farmers, professors, teachers and small business owners with a sprinkling of people who work in the nearby cities but prefer the quiet country life. Local businesses include wineries, artisanal cheese companies, art galleries and some of the most creative pottery and home furnishings imaginable. Aurora is also home to the small and beautiful Wells College. Wells put Aurora on the map in the 1800s and continues to keep her young and awash with new energy and ideas.
